About the Fabric

The Fabric Colors displayed with each product description illustrate the approximate color choices. The actual fabric may vary from these images for the following reasons:

1. Variations in computer hardware, screens, and software affect how the color is displayed on your computer screen.
2. Colors on your computer screen are created by "projected light" whereas the actual fabric colors are created by "reflected light". For this reason, the computer screen cannot replicate the hue, texture, and flat finish of fabric.
3. The lighting in the room can affect your perception of what you see on your computer screen.
4. Move your head up and down, and from side to side in front of the screen. Note how the colors change slightly. The most accurate image is when your eyes are directly in front of the fabric swatch image.
5. To get an idea of how different your computer screen might be, hold a piece of white paper up to your computer screen and compare it to anything white on the screen. This will give you an idea of what the true color might be.

The fabric color in the Large Images of the products may seem to look different from the fabric colors in the image with the small fabric squares. This is because the large images were photographed with overall lighting that reflects off the surrounding area. Also, when two cushions are in the photograph, the different colors can affect each other. For this reason, we tend to put text in the larger image that explains the color of each cushion used in the photograph.

If the fabric color is critical, you should consider ordering Fabric Swatches using the link shown below. It will take time for you to receive the swatches, but it is the best way to get an accurate view of the fabric.

It is important to understand that the actual fabric from which the cushion is made can also vary slightly from the fabric swatches. This is because the fabric may come from a different dye lot than that of the swatch. We do our best to send swatches from the most current dye lot - any difference in color should be very subtle.
