  • We understand that children outgrow things quickly. For this reason, the cover is not removable on the Children's Size Cosmic Cushion so that the cost will be as low as possible.
• Height Measurements are based on the compressed height with a person of average weight on the cushion.
• Kapok & Buckwheat Hulls enclosed in linen fabric on all but the Children's Size.
• Buckwheat Hull version has zippered inner pouch to allow for adjusting the hull level, including on the Children's Size.
• Features built-in carry handle.
• Zippered, removable cover is washable, except Children's Size.

Description

The Cosmic Cushion is our comfortable "fortune cookie" shaped sitting cushion with a built-in slope. The side extensions gently support the upper thighs and reduce stress on the hips and knees. The center cut out allows the heels to be close to the body without any interference from the cushion.

The cover of the Cosmic Cushion is removable and can be washed in cool water and mild detergent. The Children's Size does not have a removable cover. The cushion is available in three lift heights of regular, 6-1/2", lowloft (and travel), 4-1/2", and oversize, 7-1/2". Scroll up to view the size comparisons.

The regular height is suitable for beginners and those who are of average height or taller. It is also best for those who lack flexibility in the legs. The lowloft height may be best for those who are shorter than 5' 6", are flexible enough to get their knees level with or lower than their hips in the cross-legged position, or just prefer a lower cushion.

The Oversize Cosmic Cushion is for those who need more cushion to cover a broader area, for those who are much taller than average, or for those who need extra lift to compensate for a lack of flexibility in the legs. This is a SPECIAL ORDER item and may require extra assembly time before shipping. The dimensions and weights are shown above in the Specifications section.

The Travel Size Cosmic Cushion is ideal for your upcoming retreat or to take with you anywhere. The smaller size still offers great support and you can place it behind your neck on those long plane trips.

The Children's Size is perfect for the little meditator in the family. It is designed for children as young as 3 and all the way up to the early teen years.

The Zabuton complements the Cosmic Cushion and provides ample cushioning for the legs, knees, and ankles. It is available in an economy version where the cotton batting is sewn directly inside the cotton twill fabric. The economy Zabuton is tufted in 5 places to keep the cotton batting in place.

The Deluxe Zabuton comes with a cotton twill cover that is removable and washable. The cotton batting is enclosed in muslin fabric and tufted to keep the cotton batting in place.
