Location: In the mid-throat.

In Sanskrit Vishuddha means “pure”.

Governing: communication and speech, creative self expression, speaking ones truth.

Vishuddha is weakened by lies and suppressing ones verbal truth.

Vishuddha connects us to our search for our truth and and the cultivation of purity in expression of that truth. Connecting the throat chakra with the heart helps us to speak our truth lovingly. Through internal and external communication we are organizing our heartfelt thoughts into verbal expression. Denoted by the color - Blue
