I would like to thank you for your great customer service (and fast shipping!). The customer service was extremely impressive. After ordering I was contacted by a representative to talk about better shipping options due to the holidays. The items came packaged neatly and without damage. Both ordered items were for a holiday gift and he absolutely loved both the organic meditation cushion and the pyramid timer. I definitely will be coming back for future gifts. Thank you for the great experience! Best Regards Carolyn J |
Salubrion Enso Pearl Review
While the clock is sophisticated and has more features than any one person might use, it is an easy-to-use device. One can program up to 50 unique time intervals into the timer. For example, it can be programmed to gong at 1 minute, followed by a gong at 2 minutes, followed by a gong at 1 minute and 25 seconds, followed by a gong at one hour, and so on. This, obviously, requires pressing a sequence of buttons that will require some practice and patience to set up. Once the sequence is programmed, it can be memorized using one of the T1, T2, or T3 buttons on the left side. At the same time, the Enso Pearl can be used for a simple, single countdown, which is quite easy to set on the timer. Simply press the "Timer" button represented by the Hour Glass symbol on the upper left. Then, use the "-" and "+" buttons to set the timer down or up respectively. Once the desired time is set, press the "Start" button. At the end of the countdown, the timer will gong or play the selected sound, which is also quite easy to set. As the clock runs and the seconds progress the timer paints a circle around the outside edge of the display. As the timer function counts down the circle is also slowly painted. This is where the Enso Pearl gets its name since "Enso" is Japanese for "Circle". So, while many reviews of this timer have noted that the Enso Pearl is "too complicated", it is not necessarily true. Yes, it can be complicated if you want to program a sophisticated timing sequence. But, if you simply want to use it as a clock, an alarm clock, a simple countdown timer, or a stopwatch, it is really not more complicated to set than a Kitchen Timer. The Enso Pearl is about the size of a DVD and the speaker, located on the back of the timer, is about the size of a quarter. Still, the sound quality is amazingly real. And, for those of you who want to wake up to a gong sound, but still need a loud alarm, the Enso Pearl has enough volume to wake just about anyone. The volume setting has a range from "0" (silent) to "9" (very loud). For meditation a setting of "1" or "2" will be subtle enough to bring you gently out of meditation. For timing your Yoga workout, a setting of "3" or "4" will be gentle enough to remind you without disrupting your calm state of mind. For timing a Reiki or Massage session, a setting of "5" or "6" will produce a nice gong that can be heard over any ambient music that might be playing. The Enso Pearl has been around for quite a few years now. It is a refined and well-tested product. As a seller of this product, we've had very few returns and almost no defective units. Everyone who purchases the Enso Pearl has loved it, kept it, and used it daily.
