I shopped around extensively both online and at retail for a high-quality zabuton/zafu combination before settling on Sage Meditation. They turned out to have the the best price/value offerings. The black zabuton/zafu combination was the exact same high-quality, cotton/natural fabric model as in my local retail store for nearly half the price (and no tax). While I originally thought the $22.00 shipping a little high for online shopping, the box is huge and nearly 20 lbs., so it's actually fairly reasonable. If the price/value wasn't enough, Sage blew me away with their old-fashioned, high-touch customer service. After receiving my order confirmation, I realized that I would be travelling during the scheduled delivery time. I contacted Jay and he expedited my shipment (to go out that same day) and arranged for me to receive my shipment before I left (at no additional cost). Sage sells on Amazon, but ordering directly costs the same with a better quality customer fulfillment. It's gratifying to see customer service is alive and well, tucked away in a corner of Madison, WI! Michael C |

The Pi Meditation Bench is a simple kneeling bench that offers greater comfort during meditation. The design is so unique, you'll wonder why nobody thought of it before now. The feet are located in the center of the bench where they will not impede your ability to comfortably place your legs under the bench. There is no border on the outer ends of the bench to impinge on your calves. Yet, the feet are far enough apart at the center to create a stable platform for your meditation posture. Rounded on the ends, the feet can be set in an infinite number of positions so that you can place the bench at the perfect angle for your comfort. The 7¼-inch height is ideal for everyone. The bench is hand made from select hardwoods and finished with hand-rubbed Tung Oil. The wood color can vary from a warm honey ash to natural oak color. Each bench has distinct wood grain and markings making this uniquely your bench.
