General Information

You can get shipping quotes by simply adding items to the Shopping Cart and using the Shipping Caluclator. Select "Domestic" or "International" and enter your Postal Code. You'll get an instant shipping quote. No need to sign in.

Shipping costs are caluclated in real time and are based on the weight and package dimensions for your order. We regularly review shipping prices to ensure that you are being charged the true shipping cost needed to send your order to your home. We do not intend to earn profits from the shipping charge for your order.

When you consider the cost of fuel and the convenience of having your purchase delivered to your door and the fact that meditation cushions are not yet found at the local department store, it would seem that shipping costs are still quite reasonable.

We hope you will agree that the shipping cost for your order is reasonable and that our products are well worth the expense.

Expedited Shipping

We offer expedited shipping services through FedEx, UPS and/or the US Postal Service. If you have a specific delivery need and believe you need expedited shipping, PLEASE call us at 1-800-231-0574 or contact us via email through our Contact Us page. We regularly monitor our emails even after hours. We're happy to work with you to get your order delivered as quickly and affordably as possible.

Where we Ship

We can ship anywhere in the world. However, our web site is currently designed to process orders automatically only for the United States, US Territories, Canada and a few other countries. You may receive errors if you enter a shipping address that is not compatable with our web site. Please contact us for a shipping quote if your country is not listed in our Checkout System. We are happy to give you a quote and we offer a safe and secure system for paying for your International order.

Special Note Regarding Orders Shipping Outside the U.S.

Sage Meditation ships many of its own products. But, we also utilize Drop Shipping for some products such as the Zen Alarm Clocks, Chakra Art Prints, and CDs. Non-U.S. orders for these items my be fulfilled in this manner:

1. The item will be shipped first to our location in Madison, WI, US
2. The item will then be shipped to the customer

International orders for these products may be delayed by as much as 2 weeks before they are shipped.

Shipping Costs

Sage Meditation provides a Shipping Calculator so you can see the shipping cost for your order before you have to create a login or give any personal information. We also strive to keep shipping charges on each order as nearly as possible to the exact shipping cost. This is part of our personal code of ethics and we hope that you will honor our integrity by bookmarking our web site before closing the screen to compare prices with other web sites.

Shipping estimates are calculated using the weight and dimensions of the packaging used to ship the items in your order as well as the shipping destination - the point of origin is Madison, WI. Shipping is based on the total weight of the order - even if we have to make more than one shipment in order to fill your order. We do not intend to make our profits through artificially inflated shipping and handling charges. We review each order to ensure that our shipping estimates continue to be accurate.

To estimate the shipping cost on your order:

1. Add the product(s) you wish to order to the shopping cart by selecting any options and clicking the "Add to Cart" button.
2. Once in the cart, you will see the "Shipping Calculator" under the list of products in the shopping cart (you may need to scroll down to see this).
3. Enter the ZIP code of the location where your order will be shipped in the box next to the "Go" button.
4. Click the "Go" button.
5. The shipping cost for the current list of products in the shopping cart will be displayed just below the box where you entered the ZIP code and the "Go" button.
6. If you continue shopping and add more products, you will need to re-enter the ZIP code and click the "Go" button again to update the shipping cost estimate.

For International orders, you must first click the circle next to "International". You will then select your country and, if applicable, province, territory, and/or Postal Code. If your country is not listed, please contact us and we will offer you a shipping estimate and explain how to complete your order.

Product Availability

We take pride in the fact that our cushions and mats are lovingly made one at a time by our dedicated crew. We are generally able to assemble most orders within a few days and we maintain a stock of some of the most frequently requested cushions. However, it may take longer for us to fill orders for the larger yoga and massage mats and for cushions in the less-common fabric colors. Our most common colors are Black, Burgundy, Navy Blue, Sage Green, and so forth.

Electronic items are generally always in stock and are usually shipped within 1 to 2 business days. Electronic items are frequently shipped separately from cushions, mats and yoga props. They tend to arrive before these other items, even if they are a part of the same order. Shipping is calculated as if all of the items will be shipped in one shipment - you are not charged more for these separate shipments.

Additionally, there are certain times during the year when we experience a greater number of orders such as the November and December "Holiday" months. At those times, we may need more time to get to and complete your order. Shipping times can be also become longer as UPS and other carriers get overwhelmed during this time.

All orders are treated with a sense of urgency and we do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible. From the moment we receive your order until we receive notification that it has arrived to your shipping address, we track every step from beginning until completion. When you contact us about your order, we know you by name and not by a number. We understand that you want to receive your purchase quickly and that is our desire also.
