The Cosmic Cushion is a unique design in meditation cushions. This simple but amazing meditation cushion is designed with a built-in slope to help you get into the perfect posture for sitting meditation. You will sit fully on top of this cushion. The broad seat and side extensions offer more support than any other meditation cushion.
The Cosmic Cushion is designed with the fill enclosed in muslin fabric and the 100% cotton twill cover in your choice of color is removable and washable. The Buckwheat Hull versions have a zippered opening to allow you to adjust the level of hulls.

A good measure of flexibility is to sit on the floor in the cross-legged posture without any cushion. If your knees go to the floor, your flexibility is good. If your knees stay up in the air, then your flexibility is limited.
This cushion can be set on the floor with the back side up and used for the kneeling posture known as Seiza.

Legs Don't Fall Asleep!
I'm reviewing the Travel Size Cosmic Cushion filled with kapok. Every other meditation cushion I have tried, whether round or rectangular, has made my legs fall asleep in about 10 minutes. Those other cushions hit my legs right at the leg crease--but this cushion design does not. Also, it has not mattered whether I used kapok filled or buckwheat-hull filled. The Cosmic Cushion is the solution to my problem! I chose kapok because it is lighter, and the Travel Size is just right for me (5'3" tall). I highly recommend this cushion. I can sit for more than 20 minutes without tingling feet or dead legs.

Cosmic Cushion
I've been meditating for >40 years and I am a physical therapist with 32 years of experience treating patients with back problems. This is by far the BEST cushion for proper spinal alignment in cross legged asana that I have ever tried. Buckwheat hulls are also best for stability and stillness. Great product! I bought a second travel size to hopefully fit when I attend group meds as well.

Cosmic Cushion
I've been using my cosmic cushion for a few weeks now and can't say enough good things about it. My knees are fine but I have hip problems and this cushion gives just the right amount of support so that I can be comfortable. I can finally settle in to a quiet meditation rather than using the pain as a focus to "let go"! Highly recommend it!
